Disturbing video has emerged which shows a young woman being brutally attacked while holding a toddler. The video appeared online on Tuesday, though it is still unclear where and when the attack took place. The short video, which has gone viral with more than 6 million views on Facebook, shows a girl of unknown age harassing another girl who is seen holding a small child while sitting at a table with a friend. The attacker is also accompanied by a friend. Several bystanders are seen milling around what looks like a school playground or a public park. The attacker grows more and more agitated during the video ordering the victim to
“keep your mouth closed” and “get up.”

Jumping into the national movement to eliminate Confederate symbolism, the National Cathedral has announced it will take down two stained-glass windows that feature the flag. “It is time to take those windows out,” said the Very Rev. Gary Hall in a Thursday announcement.
The prominent building on the skyline of the nation’s capital includes windows honoring Confederate generals Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson and Robert E. Lee, and each contains an image of the controversial flag.
“The Cathedral installed these windows, in part, because its leadership at the time hoped they would foster reconciliation between parts of the nation that had been divided by the Civil War,” said Hall, who has called for the governing bodies of the cathedral to remove the windows that have been there since 1953. “Here, in 2015, we know that celebrating the lives of these two men, and the flag under which they fought, promotes neither healing nor reconciliation, especially for our African-American sisters and brothers,” Hall said.

According to Michael Crowley of Politico, the US has practiced at least three attack runs over the New Mexico desert. These runs have been flown by B-2 bombers and are meant to test the US’s trump card against any attempt to procure a nuclear weapon, the Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP). MOP, which is 20 feet long and weighs 15 tons, “boggles the mind,” according to a former Pentagon official who spoke to Politico after watching footage of the tests. There’s no publicly available footage of the tests, but this footage of a BLU-109 in action gives an idea of how the MOP works. Bunker-buster munitions burst through a target’s defensive layering before the warhead detonates:

The Pentagon has released a book of instructions on the “law of war,” detailing acceptable ways of killing the enemy. The manual also states that journalists can be labeled “unprivileged belligerents,” an obscure term that replaced “enemy combatant.” The 1,176-page “Department of Defense Law of War Manual” explains that shooting, exploding, bombing, stabbing, or cutting the enemy are acceptable ways of getting the job done, but the use of poison or asphyxiating gases is not allowed. Surprise attacks and killing retreating troops have also been given the green light. But the lengthy manual doesn’t only talk about protocol for those on the frontline. It also has an extensive section on journalists – including the fact that they can be labeled terrorists. “In general, journalists are civilians. However, journalists may be members of the armed forces, persons authorized to accompany the armed forces, or unprivileged belligerents,” the manual states. The term “unprivileged belligerents” replaces the Bush-era term “unlawful enemy combatant.”
When asked what this means, professor of Journalism at Georgetown Chris Chambers told RT that he doesn’t know, “because the Geneva Convention, other tenets of international law, and even United States law – federal courts have spoken on this – doesn’t have this thing on ‘unprivileged belligerents’.”
